The 12th China International Cartoon & Animation Festival Industry Expo

China International Cartoon & Animation Festival was host by The State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television of The People’s Republic of China and The People’s Government of Zhejiang Provinces, and was undertaken by The People’s Government of Hangzhou, The Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television of Zhejiang and Zhejiang Radio & TV Group. This is the one and only state level cartoon and animation festival and also the largest, the most popular and the most widely affected cartoon and animation festival in China. The Canada general consulate in Shanghai has cooperated with China International Cartoon & Animation Festival for successive three years. This year’s activities were still as popular as the former two years. There were over 100 companies attended this festival which made almost 20 negotiations. This animation cooperation of Canada and China was unprecedented successful.

Weidun Ai, the Canada general consul in Shanghai, and Shuang Xie, the vice mayor of the People’s Government of Hangzhou made speeches during the festival. They encouraged the cooperation of animation industry in China and Canada.
