In October 30th, 2015, the 15th Beijing Film Academy Animation Academy Awards officially opened at The great hall of people.
Beijing Film Academy Animation Academy Awards (AAA) is a professional award which was founded by Beijing Film Academy in December, 2001. It is held once every year by the end of the year, when academic exchanges and series of activities will also be conducted. Because of its high professionalism and authority, the effects of AAA become increasingly wider. And AAA is also called Chinese animation “Oscar Awards”.
AAA’s purpose is to encourage and pursuit the animation creation which has creativities and independent spirits, constantly dig and display the diversity of animation which is seen as a kind of art, provide more opportunities of interaction and shows of themselves for those who are truly love the art of animation and boost the academic development in creation of animation. AAA gives platform for teachers and students in which they can communicate with the experts and companies in animation industry and then improve the benign development of entire animation industry.
During this AAA, Cogito software Co. Ltd exhibited bird standard, 3D printers and Harmony animation software. Besides, Rich Yu, the vice president of Cogito software Co. Ltd and Jianping Li, the professor of Beijing Film Academy contract to build non-paper Toon Boom joint Laboratory.
