VisualARQ available for Rhino 7

VisualARQ 2.9 has been released and it it is available for Rhino 7 Beta.

That means that it is compatible with most of the new features of Rhino 7:

 

• Support to Rhino Inside technology
• Integration with the Layouts manager panel
• Integration with SubD geometry in plan and section views or with the section attributes

In addition, VisualARQ 2.9 adds the translation to Russian language, and the evaluation version has been extended to 90 day!

Changes

IFC:

#9908: Change “IfcElementQuantity” to “BaseQuantity”

• Installer:

#10070: Evaluation version of 90 days

Style:

#10148: Option to choose file format for .VAL library files

Grasshopper: Component:

#9717: Support mesh as an output on the VisualARQ Explode Grasshopper component

Notes

These are the required Rhino versions to install VisualARQ 2.9:

• Rhino 5 SR 6 or later
• Rhino 6 SR 14 or later
• Rhino 7 Beta 7.0.20295.18003 (21/10/2020) or later

File format hasn’t been changed in this release. Files saved with VisualARQ 2.9 can be opened with VisualARQ 2.3 or greater.

If you have Lands Design installed, it’s recommended to upgrade it to the latest version Lands Design 5.3.
