1. Can you briefly introduce yourself?
My name is Jaegil Lim. I am a freelancer character artist in Korea teaching students in CGNI Game Graphic School as the Vice President. I have had a broad experience in the CG industry by participating in several large-scale projects with NCsoft, NEXON, and NEOWIZ.
2. Which features do you think provide Marvelous Designer with a powerful advantage in comparison to other clothing simulation tools?
Marvelous Designer has a powerful advantage as it does not require any professional knowledge about patterning or clothes. It enables you to poly-model clothes intuitively and efficiently.
3. Which features do you want to see from Marvelous Designer in the future version?
Low-poly modeling for optimized real-time rendering will be possible with the upcoming enhanced retopology function. I would love to specify and freeze areas on fabric to maintain wrinkles during simulation.
4. Would you recommend Marvelous Designer to a CG artist and why?
I definitely would recommend Marvelous Designer to any artists. Marvelous Designer is the best and fastest solution for modeling and sculpting 3D clothes, and making consistent and accurate clothes with ease.
