KeyVR
KeyVR allows you to take a KeyShot scene and, with one-click, generate an interactive, virtual reality experience.
VR made easy
KeyVR is the quickest way to view your scene in virtual reality. We have eliminated the complex setup and preparation so you can quickly and smoothly transport yourself into the scene with the click of a button.
Built for designers
KeyVR is unlike any other VR software. It doesn’t require any convoluted development or programming. With one click you can experience your design, materials, environment, or animations as if they are in front of you, around you, or in your hands.
Faster design insight
KeyVR puts you right in the scene and allows you, your team, or your customers to evaluate different materials under different lighting conditions. It provides faster design insight, eliminating costly mistakes, and even costlier manufacturing delays.
Why use VR?
Virtual reality has gone beyond novelty. Companies around the world are using it to evaluate designs and bring products to market faster. The learning curve, development needs, and hardware requirements are still a barrier to many. We set out to break that down, providing a one-click interactive VR experience, that is fast, easy, powerful and requires zero coding.
VR was a challenge – KeyVR made it easy.
How it works
KeyVR is simple. With one-click, go from KeyShot to KeyVR to explore your scene, or open a KeyShot .bip or .ksp file directly in KeyVR.
1
Prepare your scene
Import your model into KeyShot. Add any materials, environments, or animations you like and save your scene.
2
Start KeyVR
Press the KeyVR button on the KeyShot toolbar (version 8 and above) or launch KeyVR and open the scene directly.
3
Experience
View your 3D model in an interactive environment, change materials, choose lighting, and make design decisions faster.

Why KeyVR?
We created KeyVR for five reasons. We wanted to provide a product that eliminates the challenges associated with creating virtual reality experiences, in a solution that allows you to:
And we wanted it all to fit right inside your current visualization workflow. KeyVR perfectly complements KeyShot as a visualization solution to assist you in exploring your design intent while maintaining the visual quality in a product anyone can use.
KeyVR Advantages
We've built KeyVR to provide the following advantages:
One-click
KeyVR is the quickest way to view your scene in virtual reality. From KeyShot, hit the VR icon to be transported into KeyVR for a One-Click VR experience.
Fast & Easy
KeyVR performance is unmatched, just like you would expect from the creators of KeyShot. KeyVR is GPU-powered, optimized for VR viewing, and capable of loading large data sets.
Minimal Prep
KeyVR eliminates the complex setup and asset prep required by other solutions. Simply, add materials and lighting as you normally would normally in KeyShot, then open in KeyVR.
No Coding
KeyVR doesn't require convoluted programming. It doesn’t require outsourcing development, bringing on dedicated VR developers, or forcing conditions for your models to work in VR.
Powerful
KeyVR brings you power in a tool built for designers. It enables a return to the creative process instead of VR development oversight and brings more visualization options to your workflow.
We're already hearing great things from users of KeyVR - how they're able to create VR experiences quickly, assess designs faster, and show their customers the future. We can't wait to see how you use KeyVR and how it helps your product development process.
“With KeyVR, we can experience the design much earlier in the process to get a better idea of the finished product in time to make critical changes.”
