In partnership with Lobel Graphics s.r.l. , a broadcasting television content creator and provider, we created a ground breaking Mac based playout system. Using a compact and streamlined interface, Lobel On Air let you play, control and composite realtime video/audio flows using an unlimited layered compositing system based on a prioprietary OPENGL engine.
Lobel On Air is able to playout any Quicktime based content as well as the major Audio (AIFF, MP3, WAV) and Image (JPEG, TIFF, TGA, PSD, PNG) file formats in a controlled and timed way. In addition, Lobel On Air can play in a controlled way, any Apple Quartz Composer file, allowing to virtually customize in an unlimited way our rendering engine.
Also, Lobel On Air implements a ground breaking titling and text generation engine able to produce Photoshop-quality texts in realtime using any Unicode character available and supporting rich contents like inline images. Texts can be animated or used as crawls and rolls of virtually unlimited sizes.
Our engine is able to output realtime audio and video through the standard Mac ports as well as through any Aja Kona 3 or Blackmagic Design SDI board while still provide a realtime preview to the user.
Our engine is also able to be controlled through RPC2 remote calls allowing an external software or host to interact in a seamless way... This let you trigger events, change parameters or start contents extending the integration capabilities of the system...
