Animation Plug-In for Maya
TWEENING WITH STYLE
A "pose-to-pose" approach to animation has become the best method to animate emotive CG characters, as CG animators learn to adapt technique from the rich history of traditional animation. Our Anzovin Breakdown Tool provides unique functionality for creating new "breakdown" poses in between the character's key poses, making pose-to-pose workflows fast and fluid.
Unlike other breakdown toolsets, Anzovin Breakdown Tool provides a live preview of your character as you work. It also completely avoids pesky gimble problems, using naturalistic quaternion interpretation instead of a harsh linear average. And it allows you to use the same interface to tweak existing poses as well as generate new ones.
Anzovin Breakdown Tool works with Maya 2011 and newer versions on Windows, Mac, and Linux machines.
FEATURES
Anzovin Breakdown Tool comes with many features not available with other tweening options:
LIVE PREVIEW
As you create a breakdown, the Anzovin Breakdown Tool provides a live preview of the resulting pose, allowing you to see exactly what you're going to get!
QUATERNION INTERPRETATION
To avoid gimble problems, the Anzovin Breakdown Tool uses quaternion interpolation when creating breakdowns.
DEFINE CUSTOM BREAKDOWN SETS
You can use the current selection or the current character set to create breakdowns, or create your own breakdown sets, with their own sliders - and then organize them in collapsible groups.
TWEAKEXISTING POSES
In addition to creating new breakdowns, you can use the Anzovin Breakdown Tool to tweak existing poses, biasing them towards the previous or next pose.
